Northern Pass

Ookami admired the wolf mainly because of his mask "Which one is Luki?" he asked intrigued while Kitsune waited to see waht their next move was

(sry i forgot if this was temples of jinchuriki or what/)

"Although they were once part of the Jinchuriki, the didn't necessarily share the same animal form. Luki here, is the humane part of the nine-tailed fox." He said. "And he is the weakest of all the tame one's."

They both nodded at the information presented before them "So what is our purpose of being here?" Kitsune asked gettng to the point

Kotaro walked up to the statue and placed a finger on it. The statue suddenly seemed to be enveloped in a blue aura. "To see if its been tampered with. It seems there are multiple chakra's around it. Right now." He said throwing a Kunai to the right. A Scream was heard and a ninja fell from a tree, clutching his chest. 5 more ninja suddenly appeared. All from different villages. "All rogue ninja."

Kitsune and Ookami both drew their special katanas. Ookami lunged at the closest shinobi swinging his katana in a wide arc with a great deal of force behind it. The shinobi tried blocking it but it was all done in vein because his kunai was slung from his hand as ookami slapped a paper bomb to his chest and jumped away. As soon as he was clear of the ninja it exploded killing him instantly splattering blood everywhere

The blood from Ookami's attack hit kitsune "Ookami why can't you be more civilized" She said as she slung two kunai piercing a ninja in the neck and heart killing him. After the shinobi fell her and her partner jumped back to back ready for a counter attack from the remaining ninja

Kotaro threw three Katana in the shape of a triangle and made handsigns so fast it was a blur. "Silver Lightning Triangle Jutsu!" He said touching a kunai. Suddenly the chakra too the form of lightning, surrounding the remaining ninja and creating a pyramid which collapsed on them. "There."

Ooami and Kitsune both nodded as the fight was over. They said nothing as they both wiped the blood from their face and walked up to the statue admiring it. "Raikage. where is the monk that should be over this place?" She asked and readily waiting a reply

"Dead, his blood is the seal that keeps the tame one in the statue. It can only be removed when it finds a good host. Everyone who tried was killed by the sheer force it took to get it inside him." He explained.

Kitsune nodded "Thank you for clarifying for me." she said "Do you know what village currently presides over this place and the remaining places? Also i think we might need to continue on"

"My village watches over this one." He said. "Come on, we need to go." He said walking down the path again.

Raze looked at the statue once more before following. "Have you ever tried Kotaro?" She whispered.

Kotaro shook his head. "Chances are, I'll end up dead."

Ookami heard them but stood there and thought for a moment "How would someone come to try and aquire this power?" He asks then following the raikage and so did kitsune

Kotaro stopped. "You would have to channel your chakra into the statue, then it would try to bond with you."

He nodded and him and kitsune continued on following the Raikage "How long will this journey last Lord Raikage?" Kitsune asked as they trecked on

Kotaro sighed. "3 days to the wind village."

They both nodded and continued on ready for anything that might await them along the way

As the sun began too drop Kotaro started to set up camp. The fire was going and tents were up. A sentry roster to see who would stand guard at what times was made. Kotaro was sitting at the fire, pondering Kinai's reasons for labaling encounters.

As the roster came out on who would stand guard the two anbu went into their tent and made a clone of theirselves. They made their clones lay in bed to act as if they were resting. As they did that they went to the edges of camp and kept watch on their own little patrols

Kotaro watched as the anbu went on patrol for their roster. "We need to keep an eye out, the mauntains are dangerous after dark."

They heard what the Raikage said and said to eachother "Good thing we are trained to be sleep deprived" they said in unision as each one seperated and was on each side of camp. They did a patrol in a circle in the edge of camp covered by brush

Raze looked accros the fire at Kotaro. "My lord, you should get some sleep." Kotaro shook his head. "Don't need it." Raze sighed. "Then at least rest in your tent, I'll watch the fire."

The two anbu noticed 2 men walking about 1 mile out to the north west of camp. One wearing a rock and the other a wind(Sand) headband. Ookami watched closely as kitsune sped to the camp and confronted Raze and the Raikage "Sir we spotted 2 shinobi from the wind and rock. Should we apprehend and interrogate?" She waited for a reply

"No need for action just yet." Kotaro said taking a sip of tea he had brewed. "2 minute berth and then capture."

(berth?)
"Yes, sir" Was all she said as she turned and quickly regrouped with her fellow shinobi. When she reached him she told him of what the Raikage said "very well" Ookami stated

(Berth, used as a measure of distance and time.)

Raze raised an eyebrow. My lord, why hesitate?"

"You'll see." He said sipping his tea.

They followed the two stealthily for a short 2 minute period. Once time was up they sprang their ambush sending in 2 water clones with dual kunai drawn "Stop right their shinobi" kitsune ordered as ookami chuckled "If you know whats good for you"
